I’m Justin Sarceno, a visual effects artist and CG generalist based in Southern California.

I come from a film production background and studied at Cal State Northridge. That still shapes how I approach every shot. I’m thinking about what it’s supposed to communicate, how it would be filmed, and what it needs to feel like in the final image.

I got into VFX through stop-motion filmmaking. I was always figuring out how to clean things up, remove rigs, and add effects to make the shot work. That turned into a deeper focus on compositing, CG integration, and invisible VFX over time.

Most of my work consists of narrative films for festivals and commercial campaigns for brands. Sometimes I’m working directly with directors or marketing teams on smaller projects. Other times I’m part of a larger pipeline with studios or agencies.

When I’m not working, I’m usually chasing my kid around the house.
